This remedy covers all the basics of hemorrhoids. Aesculus hip helps painful
bleeding hemorrhoids accompanied by sharp shooting pains that may extend up
the back; it can also ease constipation with a rectum "full of sticks"
sensation. As the cell salt for elasticity of circular tissue, Calc fluor
is very helpful for hemorrhoids, particularly when anus is painful, itchy
and fissured. Since constipation, diarrhea and difficult stools both cause
and aggravate hemorrhoids, Bryonia is in this remedy to help by softening large dry stools, easing constipation and/or calming burning diarrhea. By combining #61 with Buckeye salve, also made with Aesculus, you will find much relief, but severe hemorrhoids often need professional attention.
